Visit the Farm

The Sanctuary is open to the public every Sunday from May until the end of August. We open our gates at 11am and close at 4pm (with last orders at the cafe being taken at 3:30pm). Admission is free.

A day out for everyone

Bring the whole family to come and meet our resident horses and donkeys. Plus our small collection of other animals that live on the farm. Our staff, trustees and volunteers are on hand so you can learn about how we help rescue and rehabilitate horses with our specialist training programmes.

On site

There is on-site parking and admission is free. We are quite remote, and the weather can turn quickly, so always come prepared. We always recommend footwear suitable for a farm environment. On sunny days bring hats and sun cream, but remember your rain coats, just in case!

Finding us

Approach using the A3083 heading towards Lizard village; pass the turning to Mullion on the right and about a mile later there is a turning to the left for Ruan Minor; take this turning. Around a quarter mile later there is a crossroads, turn left, signposted to Bolenowe Animal Sanctuary. Follow the road as it bends right and a couple of hundred yards later the entrance to Bolenowe Animal Sanctuary is on your right.
