Piggies, Sunshine,Watermelon Smiles & New Opening Times!

Our Bolenowe piggies love a cool slice of watermelon on a hot summer’s day! Why not come and meet our wonderful piggies, and all our rescued animals, in person? We’re now open every Sunday and Monday from 26th July to 31st August, 11am–4pm. Entry is free, and our on-site café will be serving refreshments, making it a perfect summer day out. Watermelon is a tasty treat that helps keep Bert, Ernie and Gertie refreshed, and there’s nothing better than watching their happy grunts

The Sanctuary will be opening to the general public every Sunday and Monday from 26th July to 31st August. Blue is waiting to welcome you and the cafe will be serving cream teas and cakes!

Replacing our storm destroyed field shelters

Hi, my name is Louise, and I am the charity administrator for Bolenowe Animal Sanctuary. Storm Goretti tore through our little farm like a hurricane, destroying 2 field shelters, the goats stable, which ended up on top of a fence, and a section of our brand-new fencing that was only completed last summer. Thankfully none of our animals were hurt in the storm, however, now that we have power and water restored we are faced with a large, un-budgeted bill to rebuild the shelters
