The café is also open, serving bacon baps, jacket potatoes, home baked ham, a yummy variety of homemade cakes, and of course of our famous Cream Teas! We are Open from 11am - 4pm
Coming Soon! - We have some exciting news at the sanctuary we have had confirmation of 5 new ponies from Bodmin Moor. We have no confirm dates yet but any help you can give towards the care of these poor ponies will be appreciated. We will update you as soon as they have arrived!
Field Shelter Repair
During the awful storms we had through the start of the year we lost one of our field shelter on top of one of the WW2 bunkers in the goats paddock! Thankfully none of the animals where hurt!
After our Farm Manager Paul and one of the Trustees Cheryl husband managed to retrieve the shelter we are now trying to raise the funds to have the shelter repaired. Any donation you could make towards the repairs for this would be a huge help to the sanctuary.
Meet Heather and Belle!
These ponies were previously owned by Natural England, who used these ponies to graze the cliff tops around The Lizard. Unfortunately both ponies have come to the end of there working life even though they are both only teenagers. Due to them both suffering from Laminitis and heather the pony in front from cushings disease, caused by a hormone imbalance, they will both probably remain at the sanctuary for the rest of their lives. The Vet bills are already beginning to mount up for these beautiful two ponies so any help you can give towards their care would be greatly appreciated.
